To set up your Bluetooth printer (e.g. Epson TM-M30/TM-M30ii or Rongta), please follow the steps below:
- Start by loading the full roll of paper (provided) into your printer. The paper should feed out the bottom towards the front of the printer.
- Ensure that the printer is charged and connected (Blue light on).
- Check that Wifi and Bluetooth are connected successfully on the tablet.
- Click on the Otter app and log in with the credentials provided (on the back of the tablet).
- Once you are connected, click on the printer icon and on Add new Printer.
- Once selected the printer brand, model, and connection, the printer is automatically connected

Click on Send test print. You are all set!
To set up your wired printer (Epson TM-T88VI), please follow the steps below:
- Start by loading the full roll of paper (provided) into your printer. The paper should feed out the bottom towards the front of the printer
- Connect your Otter printer to power using the power cable (provided).
- Connect the ethernet cable (provided) to the printer AND to an ethernet port.
- Once you've plugged in the power cable, turn it on! After a minute or so, it should print out a piece of paper with an IP address and a message that says DHCP Enable on it.
Direct ethernet connection is the most reliable; however, if you do not have an ethernet port accessible, you can connect it to your router instead. If a router is also out of reach, please let us know so we may advise accordingly.
Please closely monitor the first few orders to make sure they are auto-printing. Unless noted, your printer is set to print 1 receipt per order. If you need to adjust the receipt copies, please reach out to our Support Team via chat or email us at question@tryotter.com
